Training starts for the LBG
After three weeks break since the Coburg 24hr, I got out today and started training for the Lake Burley Griffin Racewalking Carnival on Queens Birthday Long Weekend. I haven’t been slack as have been doing some more than usual physical activities at work!
I am entered for the 20 mile event. Ony did 6km this morning, but was out there in the cold and it took 57min. Not a bad walking pace. I will be aiming for a couple of 20kms and 25km in the next few weeks and will be aiming on the day to beat 5 hours. No problems! I can climb any wall in front of me!
Got a new Blog on the web now. It’s going to be a collection of Ultrarunning anf Ultrawalking photos from around the Globe . It’s at:
http://ultraphotos.wordpress.com/
Either click on the archive link at the top of the page or scroll through the arrows at the bottom of the page. There’s about 50 photos there already, but please check back from time to time. There is room for 3gig of photos!
