Time is flying here in Canberra. It has been a very busy few weeks! Weather has been cold and the little boys occupying the big house on the Hill (Parliament) have been showing their usual maturity level!
My racewalking has been going well! I recovered pretty quickly from the LBG 20 miles, competed over 10kms last weekend and completed it in 81 minutes and my training has been going well! I had a one hour course at the beginning of the year that went along the local bike paths! It took me 52 minutes today, so something must be going ok! I am starting to feel more confident that I can get back to my Adelaide speed of ten years ago!
The Home buying process has been a bit up and down the last couple of weeks. There will be good news by the end of the week though! Last week we almost told the Bank, Lawyers and Builders where to stick it, but things are better today and will be good by the end of the week! The process isnt easy and no matter how much you read, research and ask questions there will still be surprises!
Got the week off from work this week. Am doing some jobs around the house, were all going to Sydney one day this week for the day, training and blogging of course, friends coming over one night, bowling another night with Belinda’s work and seeing French and Saunders as well! Will need to go back to work next week to recover!
