Reinventing the wheel – Version 652

After a few months of inactivity, slackness and using the business of life as an excuse for not doing much training, I decided that today was the day that I would get my backside into gear and start the ball rolling.  Bottom line, I feel better when I amn training and it helps to keep one healthy!

Did a 43 minute walk this morning which was probably about 4.5km.  Went along the back bike track from O’Connor into Barry Drive and back again via Northbourne Avenue,  Was starting to get colder , but a very nice morning. Some very scenic parts of Canberra that I havent discovered before.

Also went out later on and walked into Civic and back at a very brisk pace.  I measured that on Google and it came up as 2.5km.  So that’s about 9.5km for the day.  A good way to get the ball rolling.
